Arka Dhyana Meditation
Arka Dhyana is
A Finer Form of intuitive Meditation
"A Journey Into Your Inner Universe Initiated Through Your Touch, Sound, Breath, Consciousness & Guidance"
Everything begins first from yourself, from within and from the deepest nucleus-like consciousness that you comprise; and you are the part and the whole of it…
Through spiritual means, meditation and the raising of your whole conscious awareness, you (meaning the ‘I’ awareness of the individualised soul from the infinite soul of the cosmos) become closer to your deepest consciousness.
By connecting with nature and the universe in this way, you belong more and more to the larger universe, rather than merely belonging to your own individual, intellectual, egotistical mind.
-Srinivas Arka
Intuitive Meditation
Srinivas Arka has developed a type of meditation called Arka Dhyana, a natural process of expanding one's consciousness. It is a finer form of meditation through which attunement of our body, mind and higher levels of consciousness can be achieved.
There are two aspects involved in Arka Dhyana. One of them addresses individual spiritual growth, while the other is the experience felt collectively when people meet together as a group on a regular basis. There is actually no separation between these two aspects, because in reality any individual growth automatically helps others to grow.
There are many modern meditation techniques and even various studies in consciousness which are trapped in their own attempt to find a gateway to a deeper truth of our existence. By using mental devices and sometimes even external electronic devices, the hope is that the mind will be quickly tamed or lured into 'stillness'. Rarely, if ever, encountering a reward, some of those using these devices even go to the extent of trying drug-induced experiences or hallucinogens to stimulate a chemical escape from physical actuality into an illusory state. Without a mind-altering chemical, such an artificial state cannot be repeated at will.
Instead of bringing forth clarity of mind and well-being, these methods often produce even deeper confusion and depressive states of mind. In trying to remove the mind by the mind, or to still the mind through the mind, one inevitably reaches a blind alley. For one thing, a rigid or forceful abandonment of anything makes you think more about it. For another, mental consciousness is only one range of human consciousness; it does not exhaust all the other possible aspects of consciousness.
Arka Dhyana teaches us that there is a means, a natural and positive way to explore ourselves and our minds. There is a meeting space in our consciousness between mind and heart. By allowing or gently calling our heart to take over, the mind will gracefully accept the new guidance. We then naturally encounter transformation, insight and expansion into deeper levels of our consciousness.
Instead of working hard at 'stilling' your mind, Arka Dhyana invites you to become a skilful surfer of your mind. Gradually a new vista of awareness will open and you will be able to connect with your Inner consciousness.
